This video describes the concept of mitigation of damages in an employment law case in Connecticut.  It explains that mitigation of damages means minimizing ones damages after they are fired from their job.  This means one must do a thorough job search to find a new job.  If one does not mitigation or minimize damages by doing a job search then the Court or jury will not award damages.
