Many people use the term "medical practice" when describing a type of lawsuit.  Few really understand what it is.  Medical malpractice is a term for a claim for damages from substandard medical care that caused harm.  But a medical malpractice claim can be more than that.  It can also be a claim for breach of contract or breach of warranty.

I used the term substandard care, and as used here that means unreasonable care, or negligent care.  I means quality of care lower than a reasonable standard of a care in that profession under the circumstances.

If you or anyone you know believes that they are a victim of medical malpractice contact the New London medical malpractice lawyers at The Bartinik Law Firm, PC., 100 Fort Hill Road, Groton, CT. at 860 445 8521 or toll free at 888 717 4211.
