If I take medical leave in Norwich, Connecticut is my employer required to take me back after my leave is over?

Yes, assuming your are able to do your job.  There are two laws that allow you to take medical leave in Norwich, Connecticut. The federal and state FMLA.  Both require your employer to take you back as an employee after your leave is over.  In fact, under the state of Connecticut FMLA your employer must allow you to come back to your same position that you held before your leave.  Under the federal FMLA your employer must allow you to come back to the same or a similiar position.
