Disability discrimination | Two important rights under the ADA.
In this video I discuss the two main components to the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA). I explain that an employer cannot discriminate on the basis of disability. Next, I explain that a person who has a disability has the right to a reasonable accommodation at the workplace. This means if you have a disability and are otherwise qualified for the work, but you need a reasonable accommodation then the employer is required to allow you to use the accommodation.
If you are a person with a disability and believe you are a victim of discrimination then contact The Bartinik Law Firm, P.C., 100 Fort Hill Road, Groton, Connecticut at 860-445-8521 or toll free at 888-717-4211.
