Q I have been charged with DUI in Connecticut. What happens now?
If you have been charged with DUI in Southeastern, Connecticut you will have to appear in the Superior Court in either Norwich, Connecticut or New London, Connecticut.
This is a two-fold process. First, you will have to face criminal charges brought against you by the State of Connecticut. You will be required to appear before a judge in the geographic area (Norwich or New London) where you were arrested to defend against the charges brought against you.
Second, you will have to defend your privilege to drive at an administrative hearing with the Department of Motor Vehicles.
