Now, what if you are the most careful driver in the world?  What if you are 100% confident that you will never driver carelessly?  Do you still need car insurance?  Yes.  Absolutely yes!  The most important part of your car insurance policy is your underinsured motorist insurance.   That protects you.  This is the insurance that protects you from that other guy who has no insurance or a little bit of insurance.  Uninsured motorist insurance will pay your damages when your damages exceed the insurance available from the careless drivers insurance.   And since many people carry the minimum amount of insurance which is presently $20,000, you will need uninsured motorist insurance if your claim is anything greater a minor claim.

If you or anyone you know suffered an injury on a Connecticut roadway in a car accident and have a question about a car or truck accident or car insurance please call the car accident lawyers at The Bartinik Law Firm PC, 100 Fort Hill Road, Groton, Connecticut at 860 445 8521 or toll free at 888 717 4211.
