“No fault insurance”
In Connecticut we no longer have “no fault” insurance. That means that each person has insurance on their car that protects them (first party) insurance and covers the first certain amount of damages. It covers the bills regardless of fault. Now, we have a fault based system so if you are harmed by someone else’s negligence you can make a claim against their insurance.
If you or anyone you know has a question about no fault insurance arising from a serious car accident in Southeastern Connecticut please call the car accident attorneys at The Bartinik Law Firm PC, 100 Fort Hill Road, Groton, Connecticut at 860 445 8521 or toll free at 888 717 4211.
